Our website is www.hslla.org. Here you will be able to access the member’s area to find vendors, the landlord-tenant list with a place to post more, a place to post your vacancies and rental property for sale, a list of all our members, forms you can download and more.

We have compiled a list of forms that you can download for use in your rental business.

Another of our great benefits is our members. We have members who have experienced any problems or dilemmas you will encounter in your business. They will be glad to give you suggestions, tell you what did or didn’t work for them in that situation and point you in the right direction. The value of this benefit can’t be over estimated, they can save you time and money and many headaches along the way.

We also get discounts with Tenant Data.  This company provided credit reports, social security number verification, and multi state criminal background for tenant screening.

There are merchants and vendors who give a discount when you present your membership card.

We have speakers and educational programs at many of our meetings.
Bart Jones from Code Enforcement has offered the members of the Hot Springs Landlord Association a great benefit. For all our members who send him an e-mail with your name, phone number and a list of all the rental properties you own in the City of Hot Springs he will do two things for you:

  • 1. If a complaint is lodged against one of the listed properties you will get a call before an inspector is sent out letting you know about the complaint.
  • 2. Before a property is rented he will inspect it, photograph it for condition and, if need arises, testify in court about the condition of the property when the tenant moved in.

When you join Hot Springs Landlord Association, you automatically become a member of Landlord Association of Arkansas, which is the state association that is made up of all of the local associations in Arkansas.

Through the Landlord Association of Arkansas we are active in the legislative arena when laws are introduced that affect our industry.

When you join the HSLLA you receive a copy of our "Landlord Survival Book" with a wealth of valuable information for landlords.
